Several helicopter companies operate flights from Auckland to Kerikeri and Whangaroa.

Air New Zealand operates scheduled flights daily from Auckland to Kerikeri/Bay of Islands airport. Whangaroa is 30 minutes from Kerikeri Airport. A shuttle bus can be arranged from the airport to Whangaroa or if you have four or less coming we can pick you up.

Approximately 3 hours and 45 minutes from Auckland

• Take State Highway 1 from Auckland to Whangarei (2 hours)
• Stay on Highway 1 past Whangarei to Kawakawa (approximately 50 minutes)
• Pass through Kawakawa, staying on Highway 1 until you reach the Kerikeri turnoff at Pakaraka junction
• Turn right onto State Highway 10
• Stay on Highway 10 for approximately 50 minutes untill you reach Kaeo
• Follow Signs to Whangaroa Harbour, approx 10 munites past Kaeo

• Bay of Islands to Whangaroa Harbour - 26 nautical miles
